I just put it here, because i dont want to open another thread, but i hope it helps or works for others.
I think in discord, we talked about ps4 not giving the names of CMATW, privacy settings etc.
So i tried to find out, if its really not possible to find players via name. You can: go to the american (https://my.playstation.com/) version. Sign in and go to friends, then there is a search button where you can type in the name.
Pretty sure if privacy is set, you still will not see the persons info or will be able to write them a msg.
I hope it is somewhat helpful? Did/does anyone know about this? :D
