Hey everyone, just bringing back a favorite topic from the original forum. To put it simply: what game(s) have you all been playing as of late? New stuff, old stuff, a mixture of both? Replaying a favorite, or are you trying something new? We want to know, so give us the scoop! I'll start, I suppose! I decided to pick up Hyrule Warriors for the Switch on Friday. It's occupied most of my free time the past couple of days. I played the heck out of the WiiU version, and it was nice to revisit it again, especially with all the new features and changes that were included. My only complaint is that I have to start over from scratch, but... I'll still willingly do it because it's an addicting game, haha. Now it's your turn, fellow forum-goer!  |

I've been playing... umm... well, Sky. Recently I've also played Elite:Dangerous a bit, which is an open-galaxy, really pretty space-trucking kind of game with space battle as an optional part of the play.

Played God of war recently and it was good! So many good games this year! Far cry 5 was good too. Assassin's Creed origin was a heck of a ride!

Been replaying FFX because i found it used dirt cheap. About to play the hell out of Detroit when it releases on friday~

Detroit hype!!! I don't play games but i watch streams of different games as i play journey, haha. can't wait till i can watch the detroit! ^O^
i really hope my internet will allow me to watch it in good qualiry for all the tasty render

Detroit looks an awsome and original game that I will play soon or later.
These lasts months I played quite a lot Assassin's creed Origins, maybe 150 hours, and I had a lot of fun. I absolutely loved the beautiful map and environement that almost made myself travel in Egypt.
More lately, I played again No Man's Sky after a long break. They really add a lot of new stuff and it just look like a different game compared to what came out the very first time.
Also, maybe it can interst people here, With some journey peeps, we play time to time Trackmania Turbo, on public servers and also on private one. The game was "free" on PS plus 2 months ago. If you are interested, tell me on Discord and I'll invite you on our little group over there, for some funny racing. :)

I have been trying to get into no man's sky again too mimor! The new vehicles and base building is cool but something is still missing. I can't play this game long before it starts to annoy me. Flying those freighters would be badass but you can only warp them around ,,😐 they announced a huge update where they add multiplayer and a bunch of stuffs! Let's see how that goes!

It seems that some players can already meet and explore together only, by using portals. It looks very limited for now.
I also heard about that huge update !
Before even thinking flying these freighters (what is indeed not possible), I have to buy one, and they are super expensive !
I lately built a harvesting farm to make money with living glass, but well, farming is not the most fun part.

Yeah it's crazy how much stuff cost in this game! I happily have some millions due to previous exploiting sessions haha long live exploits! They need to stop wasting my time... Some games suck out the fun with their money farming crap 🙄

I kind of want to try out No Man's Sky sometime. Maybe if there's a sale. I like the concept, just wish launch was a bit less rocky. ^^; But it looks pretty and relaxing, and it's good to hear they are still updating it from time to time.
I'm hyped for Detroit as well! I don't think I'll get it at launch (got a bit of a backlog), but I will probably pick it up sometime soon... like, before 2019 soon, haha. It looks sooooo good!
I may be interested in Trackmania, mimor! I think I claimed it, at least... I'll definitely send you a message after I get around to checking, because thst sounds pretty fun. :D

As you know, stepping out of Journey is a challenge for me. Friends have given me the courage to try other games through their suggestions of possibilities and their presence in chat when streaming these new experiences. During the past year, I have streamed Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons (and cried and cried); Loco Roco 2; Rime (sad, sad ending); Submerged (cried some more); The Unfinished Swan (could not complete due to fps-first person sickness); and presently streaming Undertale. Next on the list of suggestions is Braid. One other suggestion to put in my library is Last Day of June.
I am unable to play many beautiful games due to fps and related camera motion sickness issues. One day when I grow up and overcome tummy upset, I would like to try Shadow of the Colossus; The Last Guardian; Bound; Blackwood Crossing; Flower; Human Fall Flat; Unfinished Swan; and Everybody's Gone To The Rapture.
Other games in my library that I would like to tackle in the future: Unravel; Trine trilogy; Never Alone; Machinarium; Limbo; Little Nightmares; Dust: An Elysian Tail; Child of Light; and Beyond Eyes.
I have played ABZU (10 minute increments over 3 months and finished). Played with friends or share played Grand Theft Auto V; Destiny; Driveclub; flOw; Entwined; Hohokum; P.T.; Star Wars Battlefront; and The Last of Us.
I have additional games in my PS4 library that are really good, but my skill level defeats me before I begin: Assassin's Creed Freedom Cry, Chronicles, and Syndicate; Armello; Bloodborne; inFamous First Light; and Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor.
On PS3, I have some duplicates of a few mentioned above, plus Mirrors Edge; Beyond Two Souls; Dishonored; Thief; Rain; Batman: Arkham Asylum; and Minecraft.
In my steam library lurks dozens of games, most of which I will never play. But, those in which I have interest are: Candle; Candleman: The Complete Journey; The Dark Eye: Chains of Satinav; Dear Esther; Endless Legend; The Eyes of Ara; Quem - Undying Thoughts; Samorost 3; Silence; and The Whispered World. I have almost finished Tahira: Echoes of the Astral Empire
That is a summary of my gaming since I began in 2012. Opening up this entire world was Journey, continues to be filled with Journey, and as I race toward my septuagenarian years, the ending will most certainly be Journey, too! Personally I prefer to watch playthroughs on youtube or twitch, rather than play.

The Anniversary Event started for Overwatch on Tueaday. I decided to pick the game back up again after not playing for several months. So far I've gotten the Jazzy Lucio skin from last year, but I hope I get more cool costumes during the event! All event skins are available as loot or for purchase with currency, sooooo maybe I'll get somewhat lucky! Also! Does anyone here play Fire Emblem Heroes or Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp? Never thought I would get into mobile games, yet here I am. :D I play them almost daily, depending on what's available or what my current ingame goals are. |
