I would add an optional mode that links local time of day to the game. I want not only night mode in BB, but seeing any of my favorite spots under different conditions... Sitting in the sparkling sand in the city on the hill and watching the sun actually set and stars come out. Seeing the sun rise behind the gate on the way into the pink desert. The warmth of the noontime sun breaking a hole in the clouds of the death march.

I like alex's idea about setting the time of the day!
Also a photo mode would be cool, to be able to zoom at every place I want, instead of struggling with that damn camera :P
Change some carpets by mini cute WM would be fun too.
But the first thing that came into my mind was an actual Sound/music option, like in almost evey video game. Set the volume of sounds or music, or mute what you want.

For me it would be no loading screens between levels. Journey as a whole would be a big open world... With fast flying we can get anywhere fast so it wouldn't be a big issue. When you reach the end the end cutscene weather would trigger and you could fly all the way back and so on. There is so much! I can't decide.  |

Oh of course, more big sized levels, or a gigantic open world that you would need hours to cross, for exploratioon and getting lost :P

It would be amazing to play through night mode, or just any other time of day, like in the credits! It would be refreshing to see different colour palettes.
I'm not sure if I would link it to local time tho cause then I'd have to stay up late :D and it would also look different to my companion if they're in some other time zone. Well that might be interesting actually!

I think it'd be funny to make a tiny wayfarer with a giant companion. I think it'd be cool to play through the war or pre-war time. I also love the sound option idea.
@ninja we've got nighttime in BB worked out, but I don't think anyone has worked on the other levels much.

I would love to see in first three levels rain with lightning. Would be nice to hide under rocks, bridge parts/etc and look at it with companion  I also want to see the northern lights in the sky  |

robin's idea with rain is amazing! i double that! i would love to see WM's in other levels! :D Wm flying above our head in pd and us wayfarers racing with her light! wm in the tower! it's not related to mod, but i would really love a patch that could make ps4 journey better. i want connection fixed, and offsync stuff, and carpet that brings you to sc, and paradise entrance. but leave skypainting, naked wayfarers, zim robe, black sands and black cloth with infinite flight :D oh and the main thing is crashes of course, this part of ps4 journey is just nasty  EDIT: oh and another thing that i would love is the thick gray fog as when the paradise transition is broken, but in all levels. i would really enjoy not recognising places and being lost, haha! |
