While chilling in bb refreshing connection every 30 seconds i thought that it would be nice to have some batch file for ps4 that will refresh the connection every 30 seconds for me unless i successfully matched with some player There can be also an additional feature like disconnecting from anyone who chirps to the BB bridge ribbon while being more than 2 wm lengths away from you (like in the tower with mural activation). This is could be useful both for ps3 and ps4 and maybe lead to some cool handmade offsync bridge glitches (like offsync goo :D )
I looked into this. If we could figure out how the CMATW transition from night to day works we could potentially put that same Cube where the transition takes place in another level, change the time it takes to switch from night to day so it fits a video game day more and make it happen. Some things can be put in other levels and some can't, and sky colors is still kind of a mystery. I have wanted to research it a bit more and will definitely share anything I find
I'd really like these two changes only: One of them is that we could change the day time/afternoon time to night time, the same look that the credits shows to us when we are returning to the beginning, it would be awesome to run and fly in the sand under the moon light lolz! And the other thing is that we could invite friends to play with us, I really thought that the ps4 version could have a change to embrace this idea but sadly nope! I love the whole game but these changes would make my love feelings grows even more!
i am really not talking about a journey dlc.. BUT having different huge levels, as above mentioned, would be great. then maybe also connected with the idea of more multiplayer.
came here to say: make the other see your symbol and make it more customer friendly to keep your symbol :)
I love the idea of a lobby level that gives you access to all of those who wish to find someone of an equal to fly with.
It could be that you only get access to the lobby level after meeting all of the trophies criteria.
After choosing your companion in the lobby level you could fly away together and sit in the circle of light together of your choosing. Allowing access to more open worlds or linear worlds with open OOB.
I like the idea that white coats could gather in OOB areas and watch red coats pass by collecting their trophy goals in their linear worlds.
Also the idea that we could personalise our own symbol using a high pixel QR code creator ( even if was a random generator that we select each game )
Call me crazy, but... lately I've been wanting to explore the Rythulian city. Not the ruins of it. Not the mock-ups of it where collision is missing in a lot of places. THE CITY. I keep wondering what the daily life was like for ancient Rythulians, and lately it keeps making me want to actually explore it, with NPCs to meet and everything. XD
Yeah... not likely to happen, but it's something I wanna do. XD;
I also think it would be neat to have an obstacle course/race area. =3 Maybe a little more plausible. XD (I tend to imagine, like, eight players competing, but still. XDDD)
Just remembered: I'd like if the final Confluence could accurately show whether you, and/or your companion is/was a White Cloak. XD Defaulting to White if you met ANY WCs in the area, even if you also met a red one - probably still red for the Chapter Select part, though. XD; Unless you're up for modifying the main board used for confluence.
Also, I just managed to get to the OOB bridge segments. ...I wish they were solid. XD;
EDIT: Then again, the "fading" effect is pretty trippy. XD ...maybe just if the first one is solid? ...Aw, I wish I had the option to make them solid. XDDD
EDITEDIT: ALSO! For the "beak" on the White Cloak mask to glow. XD;
Although I like the idea of matching weather and time of day, that could only apply to single-player. If a player were to join your session from the other side of the globe and completely different weather, how should the game respond?
It shouldn't stay on *your* time of day or weather because the other player didn't join your session, the server merged your separate sessions. To them, it looks like you joined *their* session.
I know, details, details, but I'm a software developer and have to think of things like that all the time.
I do not speak English(and speak and write so much) : I will misunderstand you, and you will not understand what I write
In Journey it is the guest's game which is modified (the host: pseudonym PSN beginning of the alphabet/capitals. Guest low alphabet/lowercase, on pc...). We know it, so quite simply we would be aware that by meeting a companion the time and the weather can suddenly change if we are the guest. Moreover during a connection I always observe the details to know if I am the host or the guest: so the time changes would give me an immediate answer :) We like to play with it, use it: during a meeting we can have music, carpets, ribbons activated or not, wind and even the wind wall different for each player :)
And in games where we can communicate it's always fun to quiz the other player to figure out what differences we see.
So don't take too long to develop all this: we, the simple users, we don't ask for things to look like reality, when it's different it's fun ;)
