Hi everyone! I’ve hopped back into the wayback machine (which I imagine looks like a Delorean) and found about 100 more posts from 2012 in the old archive. Oh my goodness, this is so grand that you did this Duuuuudefish! Heh, a lot of good history here and certainly so much to find.
I wish there was a way to get old PMs though as well, which I'd imagine would be almost impossible unless TGC does announce the archive with PMs included (Of course they would need to somehow have each user provide proof so they can access their own stuff.  ). There's a fair few PMs that I could say actually are sort of important to me in my life and I imagine everyone else, since in a way, I think I wouldn't be chatting to you mates again in the first place.  |

Hey there Aussie Gent! It was fun to find these, although sooooo frustrating that it's just a small amount. I noticed that the wayback machine actually has some PMs archived, but they are of course locked behind security (which is good, I was worried when I first saw them there that anyone would be able to read them). So this maybe gives some hope that they could be restored in some way, although I don't know how TGC would even begin to sort that out (and they really don't seem able to give it the resources it would need).
P.S. I'm an Aussie too!

As for the PMs, those certainly seem like something I feel will depend on TGC and if they still have them, but if some way to get them all back it would be neat, with of course a way to verify and make sure the correct people get the PMs, would be splendid, but again a tough ask, heh.
Either way, you certainly have provided hope and have made a good start Dudefish, and certainly wish you and everyone else good luck with this, be willing to help if I can as well with any of this, if possible. Will have to certainly wait and see what TGC says, but they seem incredibly busy, but non-the-less, hope still remains.
Also, very glad to meet another Aussie on here as well, ya a pretty cool mate, that's for sure.  |
