Please feel free to honor our Journey Companion, belovedklowny, tomorrow or during any of the upcoming days when you stream. He sometimes is able to lurk and sometimes is able to comment briefly in chat. We are sharing our love for him and with him as he walks through the very difficult days ahead under hospice care in the hospital with Lola dog at his side. He shared this in stream chat this past Sunday. I am grieving over our belovedklowny as I am sure each of you who know of his present circumstances are experiencing some seriously deep feelings. I have missed his presence with us since he shared over a month ago that he was put back on chemo and radiation. My thoughts are with klowny, his mother, sister and his son during the very difficult days ahead. Please feel free to post your stream clips in his honor here in this thread. Know that each of you are loved unconditionally and that I have the greatest respect for you, my Journey Companions. Thank you TGC for bringing us together  |

Bye bye my dear friend Klowny. You will be remembered. Some of the beloved things: Funny and amusing video that never failed to make me laugh. (now, it is making me laugh through tears) Klowny's amazing project with screensavers and his second PS. So much work with such fantastic result. The famous tutorial that taught generations and generations of wayfarers  A hilarious video in which Klowny steals his companion's robe with just one firm movement Amazing video where Klowny plays music and talks about this and that. It was made before he went to the hospital for the treatment. Klowny's amazing description on his redcloakjour twitch page! If you haven’t seen Klowny’s first stream (which was his first run through on PS4) from August 2015, I really encourage you to watch it. He shares some great little anecdotes of his early journey days (like the funny reason why he hated the headbonkers cave), gets grumpy at first run reddies, tells some funny translations of the murals and gives a touching tribute to River in Time. The full stream is over 5 hours long, so I made a 30 min highlights video for anybody who doesn’t have time to watch the whole thing:

Although I had a few memorable encounters with Klowny, I would not say I knew him so well, but I have at least 3 special memories in mind.
It's hardly describable what was my feeling when I saw Klowny start to fancy fly all around the PD factory, while I proudly wore my brand new white cloak and just knew nothing about the existence of any glitches. It was my very 1st encounter with him, and also with any fancy-flyer companion.
Another time, much later, Klowny was experimenting with 2 PS3 around the Death March Overlook (Snow), and I sort of burst in when one of his avatars's game crashed. Then he showed me his last discovery of the moment: the Alternate Death March Overlook, and it turned out to be a great moment of silliness before heading to Paradise.
His amazing tutorial for the UG shrine captured WM will remain a must forever, and I apreciate this video more especially because I could hear Klowny's voice for the 1st time through it. What a delightful moment it was!

Oh, no. I JUST found out about this.
Klowny was an acerbic but lovable wit, and by all accounts I’ve seen, a great companion in-game.

My gosh. I am at a loss for words. Klowny was inarguably one of the most well known people in the Journey community and contributed so many informative, fun, and entertaining videos of his adventures.
I am so very sorry to hear about this. This is my first time reading about his condition. My condolences to his family, friends, and to all many, many lives he touched through this beautiful game.
May he ascend magnificently to his mountain of light and find eternal peace.

I know this is an older thread, but... When I lurked around the old TGC forums, I remember klowny's name coming up a lot. I'm so sorry to hear this has happened! ;A; I hope everything will turn out okay.  |

I just finished my zillionth Journey playthrough, and did a search for Beloved Klowny and found this.
Since the Covid lockdown started I've been playing a lot of Journey again and hoping to see Klowny on my players met list one more time. I'm posting through tears knowing that someone who brought so much joy to others through this game is no longer with us.
I'll be meditating on Mount Klowny during my next playthrough.
