omg omg i journeyed with domi today! here is my sleepy "i am in love with domi" essay! wow this text is big, i am sorry! TL;dr: 10/10 would journey again. I will start from far away describing all our three encounters because they were all so different and interesting for me :D A year ago there was a day when i was a noob. As i was a noob i had some people who i was fangirling a lot, like rebi or domi or klowny! And a year ago i saw domi streaming and with shaking hands i switched my PS4 on. I sniped him in PD as he was playing chase with factory carpets, and all i could do is just stay at some distance silently, while sweating a lot lol. I was shocked by my own boldness, but thankfully domi did not pay much attention to me, and stopped without going to the cmatw. It was the ultimate journey bravery test, and i very much failed. Then as we were sharing mods (or as i was uploading alexdolly's and domi's mods to my ps) we once agreed to meet with the same (domi's) mod that provided infinite flight in ug alongside with incredible visuals of shiny pillars, vortex in the sky, a flower growing from the wm etc! And here we didn't really pay that much attention to each other because we didn't have much time for a journey and also because we were too captivated by the game itself. Its like first runs who can't really see their companion personality because everything else is so new. So yes, it was an incredible and utterly beautiful journey in the modded ug with infinite fly, it is vivid in my memory! But the actions of my domipanion i dont remember well ^^" And then today i saw domi online and tried to stealthly snipe him. As i said it to domi, he replied that he tries to stealthly snipe me! So eventually we went on an arranged journey instead :D Usually arranged journeys make me nervous, since knowing the companion makes me want to perform better than usual and be a nice companion, and that's a tough task. And in bb i was really nervous! The thought that i am journeying with The domi was not helping to relax lol. However even through the nervousness i was pleasently surprised to see that domi is in fact a wiggling maniac, and a chirpy fun companion, who is ready to pay attention to a companion and make an effort to understand their behaviour! It was very great! I was laughing a lot as we were going silly faceplants or were banging our heads against walls and murals! After a bit of flying in bb and a bit of messing around in pd i started to actually feel relaxed and gave up to the charm of my amazing happy companion! In ug i was shown a new to me wm trick and it was fun! Thanks for that! Then i took the lead, and i continued to lead in the tower as well, which was making me a bit guilty. Because like what can i even show to such an old and knowing companion? But it was a pleasure to lead domi as well as follow. Somehow we were able to grasp each others intentions soo very easily! At least domi was unbelievably flexible, always paying attention, always careful about what his companion intentions are, always communicating. This was great to experience, i loved it so much! It was also so amazing to experience the difference in the attitude. When i was a noob i was dying just with the thought of seing domi somewhere on the horison, and this time we were kinda on the same level, understanding each other and following each other. After all, i don't regret practicing a lot. Many many thanks to you domi, and i hope that someday we will meet randomly too! This could be a nice experience! So i will continue to try to stealthly snipe whenever i see you online! Also thanks for making my cheeks hurt! I was laughing and smiling a whole lot! For example i remember when we were standing in the snow gates and i was asking you to lead, and we were just making silent awkward circles around each other. This does not sound funny wheb written, lol, but i had such a blast from it  thank you thank you thank you!  |

The first two journeys Domi was full of Domi and a bad companion haha. I have to apologise for that!
The journey with Ava yesterday was one of the best experiences I've had playing this game. It made me wake up again and remember why I keep on playing journey. I can't fly well anymore (playing only modded versions of journey makes you suck at the normal version... Who would have thought that! I have whole list of excuses why I suck at flying lol) but Ava downgraded herself to an flying toaster so I don't feel so bad! I saw stuff yesterday you guys wouldn't believe! These skills! The patience! The friendlyness! The goofiness! It goes on forever! I got lost in this journey. Ava and journey completely ripped me out of reality and put me in this wonderful world of wonders. It was a amazing experience untill ug and after that everything just blew my mind. I've got shown trippy areas, shiny symbols, captured war machine! Holy crap we coasted around effortless! and the best part is I could let go and fully enjoy the moment. Ava must have had a hard time lol. I was a little kid who didn't care about "where is the level, are we going in the right direction..." Nothing! Ava will take care of me was my only thought. I can't describe it all... There was a understanding between us with body signals like we were talking to each other. I legitimately laughed really hard throughout this journey! My fingers and face are dead now haha
So guys hunt Ava down if you want a badass/great journey!

Today I had an experience I never thought I would have. Turned the Internet off and practiced a little after playing with zero yesterday and watching domis video on fancy flying today. There is still so much stuff I mess up all the time, but today I managed to RDB (or RDS? Despite going through the glossary once more, this still confuses me... dived into a hill, so I guess RDB). God that is so rewarding! I feel this technique is quite forgiving sometimes, gives you time to adjust a bit, without losing momentum instantly. Sometimes I still have spinning camera, but I am working on that :) It was an amazing feeling to see my journeyer make the moves I have only seen in streams so far. So thanks zero for yesterday and thanks domi for the video, maybe never stared at hands so hard before ("WHEN is he pressing fly???" lol) ;)

And another first time!
Met a fellow WC in the Pitch. I love to meet people there. It is so powerfull everytime when you start going to the dark, dangerous places and maybe gave up on hoping that you will meet someone.
Turned out to be Adanson_Kyo (does anybody know him/her?) in the end. Aaaaand they took me to Paradise OOB for the first time ever! All people I have played with so far didn't - to be fair I never asked to and thought it would be too much maybe, cause I get lost easily anyway :) He/She just did it, and it worked out. Plus: Never had so much fun chirping in Paradise. Normally I get a bit nervous there cause everything is so bright and it is hard for me to see my companion. This time, we just stood there chirping every now and then cause we made it.

I had a nice half-Journey with MoonMoon90 yesterday. I was actually trying to snipe stoicmom, but that didn't work. In the tower I met MoonMoon90 as a 2nd tier red cloak. They were just activating the 2nd shrine, when I flew down to them. I was surprised that a random player reacted to me that late into the game - usually it takes a while to form a bond, but they were cute and instant fun. They dry climbed with me the rest to the whale and we played there a while. They seemed confused by my faceplant ^^ I tried to show them little tricks, like the sideways whale. I didn't dare take them oob in the snow, but since they were still interested in my shenanigans I again showed little tricks like standing on one of those stone stele at the first windy section. They also waited for me when I derped ^^ cute companion. In paradise we played with the stuck carpets, again I was surprised that they were eager to follow. They might not know faceplanting, but they seem to have a little experience with Journey. Though they were too scared to get pushed off the cliff on the mountain. ^^ In the end we drew large hearts and danced to the light. After the Journey we exchanged some messages. :-) Hay anyone else met MoonMoon90? I haven't journeyed in a while (again), but after that one... I had a huge big smile on my face again.
(edit) Just looked at the trophies of my companion. They haven't even met 10 travellers yet. So a genuine newbie. Cute :-) I think it was a good idea not to take them oob, but still show them a glimpse of the wonders of Journey.

I haven't met Adanson_Kyo or MoonMoon90 but they both sound like lovely companions! I had a very fun journey with Kuroyamakouhei during the week, and was really happy to finally meet Banj last night! We had a great time, thanks Banj Some other lovely companions I've recently met are Ouki-mokuren and Ushiko-19 |

Lately i was reluctant to play online or go with companions, but i decided to finally get back to it! And as i entered BB, a companion appeared shortly, standing on a WM with a ribbon. They started calling me with little repetitive chirps, and though my first urge was to go back offline, i walked towards them instead, and ohh, i did not regret that! This was the kind of a companion that i meet so very rarely! It seemed that they really loved the game, and knew it well. However they did not wiggle, they did not use their white robe for much flying, they were so serious and calm. As soon as we met, we started chatting with little chirps and repeating chirp patterns after one another, and it was very great! In pink desert we were barely flying. Walking in sands, sometimes making small chirps. It reminded me of how on my first several journeys i was refusing to fly, because walking seemed so much more calm and desert seemed so much more vast if i walked through it. I still love walking there so very much, and it was a pleasure to do it with this calm quiet companion. Also in pink desert they drew a heart in the sand!  I loved how though this journey we were silent, we did not really show any signs of affection or any signs that we have fun, but we were walking alongside each other as equal wayfarers in the endless and beautiful desert world. It evoked the feeling that i thought i have maybe lost already. They were stopping to meditate near the murals, and walking slowly towards the symbols, and with them i felt the beauty and awe and somberness of this journey. In the snow, after all this buildup it would be impossible to go oob, so i gladly fought through this with them. It also made me recall this feeling that made me close eyes whenever i saw in any video a frozen whale or a crooked glitched WM. For the time of this journey i was able to recall a feeling of creatures being alive and immensely respected, the world being huge and real, the tears of finishing with a companion. I want to say thanks for all the amazing companions that i met in the last week. I couldn't really decide between journey thank yous thread and this one, but i thought this still contains a lot of journey experiences :D I probably forgot to mention some awesome people, sorry for that ^^" Stoicmom, thank you so much for being my lovely companion from the rest stop to the end of ug! It was so much fun to try tricks with you again and again! Sorry for doing absolutely vanilla ug, but in my opinion running through a vanilla level with an experienced companion can be nice too I hope to meet you again soon! Thank you, meowyiii for being such an amazing and smart companion! Thank you for showing so eagerly that you are enjoying the oob sights and glitches. The way you understood how to exit oob in the tower was spectacular! I am so happy we met second time. I hope the third meeting will occur soon ^^ Thanks to ladybugs_journey who i met in the snow as a two tier reddie. We enjoyed vanilla snow, and only in paradise, when you led me to the top of the mountain, i understood that you are in fact a fake reddie, haha! It was exciting to see you back after we were both lost in the whiteness, and i am sorry i was invisible to you after that. Suisyu_, thanks for showing me your amazing flying skills, and taking me along for a bit (even if unwillingly :D) I am happy we reconnected in the tower after the pd disconnect! Such a lucky chance! Your flying as a reddie in the tower was spectacular to look at. Thank you! Vec, thank you for sniping me in the snow! The ways you led me were so interesting! I was really excited to see unfamiliar boosting spot in the patrol field (without freezing, so cool!) and so happy to boost from the very base of razorback ridge to the shasta. Never thought it was even possible! The way we were always connecting easily in air after boost felt so good too Thank you for all the paradise stunts, too! I was a bit nervous before we reached paradise, but doing stunts was very calming! You are a great company vec, and welcome to snilpe again :D iaraie2012 thank you for being such a lovely and jubilent companion! You were refusing to touch the ground and was so good at tandem flying, that we didn't even have to. We were flying over bridges, desert, over slides into oob, over wms... Despite being so keen to fly forward fast, you were stopping and paying attention if i wanted to show something, it was really great. Sadly, we disconnected in the tower hl, but the time that we already had was so good ^^ |

Today i had a really nice encounter, i met a kind and jubilant reddie who, despite being a three tier, was clearly a white robe in disguise. However they never did anything out of the ordinary, not even a faceplant! But they wiggled like there's no tomorrow... They wiggled when walking up the dunes, whey wiggled through the whole pd, and through the whole death march! They were so much fun! Also an attentive person! Whenever i called them to follow me, they would immidiately understand and show curiosity. We had a completely vanilla journey and it was so great! They were interesting and so pleasant to be near. Thank you mijinko-switch for a great journey! Also some time ago (2-3weeks?) i was writing about my recent journeys but stopped without ever posting it. I will post it now though: These last days i am incredibly lucky with who i meet, and find such great companions, it makes my journey addiction to thrive, haha. Around 2 weeks ago i met fruhling! It was amazing journey, relaxing, with little flying but lots of happy wiggles and nice glitches! I am happy that fruhling is back in journey, and i was happy to meet them! Thank you for leading me through UG and showing great solid WM in the ravine between two hills, i really love that glitch. Thank you also for visiting the tower glyph and the tower roof, i don't see those wonderful places often enough :D At the same day i met seki! Again, it was a very relaxing meeting! We did not visit OOB and we did not fly, we were just going through the game enjoying each other's company and singing and dancing along the way. Thank you dear seki, i hope we meet again soon for another non-flying journey *wink* Later, i met amazing duuuuudefish! We had a great calm journey, walking through PD, enjoying carpets, walking through PD some more, then some more... It was very pleasant, and was putting me in quite the dreamy mood, and i didn't want it to end Unfortunately, in the rest stop i had to go, but our short journey left very nice memories! I met benjinsan! Meeting with banj and enjoying stunts together is always a great time! This day i was derpy, but it was ok, because just seeing banj do one dsfpj after another with some fantastic distance and aim was such a pleasure. Unfortunately we disconnected in the tower, and before we could reconnect i connected to a reddie. But the fact that we somehow reached the tower is already impressive! Maybe someday we will reach paradise together! I believe! ^O^ Then, i met (*ahem* sniped *ahem*) zero gravity! From watching zero's streams, and from our journey long time ago, i assumed that zero likes going through the game quick and companions are not that important. That's why i was so surprised by the tender and romantic journey that we had. The effortless coastings and beam downs, the beautiful views and a gentle companion alongside... it was amazing! After that i met dudefish again! And again, we had a lot of fun in PD, enjoying drunken fp on the factory, skipping the rest zone this time, haha, and going straight to UG where, upon entering, we disconnected because PSN went down. It was a sad moment, because i really wanted to go through the journey together, but well oh well! After that i met (sniped...) rebishaz! Thank you, my dear friend for this journey! We met in the tower, and had a lot of fun flying around, doing stunts, chasing the whale to the OOB and back Thank you for the paradise, and for one of the coolest coasts there! Also i was happy to show you the little place inside the rock with the colourful ripples. Thank you for following me there! 10/10 would snipe again  After that we met with dudefish again! xD This was the journey that we did complete (though in Paradise i was certain we will get stuck somewhere)! It was one of those very rare journeys where i stopped listening to music, or watching someone's journey stream, and put all my attention to the game. Dude's company was amazing. Thank you for showing me so many little interesting spots in my favorite BB level :D thank you for inviting me to your little cave! Thank you for all the quiet moments! Thank you, as always, for PD walks, haha! This journey was magical and i was sad to finally enter the light, i was ready to travel another several hours together, haha. Thank you! Then, i met para-v1! Despite having very bad russia-japan connection, this journey was filled with coasts! We were circling around Sunken City for a very long time, and it was actually magnificent (though my finger did hurt from chirping, lol) In BB, it was first time after a long break when me and companion were doing flying challenges together, and good lord that felt incredible! xD The understanding between us, and para's kindness were making this journey really really great. Before entering the tower, para had to go to sleep, and i had to make some exercises for my hands |

These are very nice stories, Ava! I really like reading about other people's journeys. I loved so much the time we've spent together, especially the last two journeys, they were very special (and funny!) Thank you! Lately I've been preferring to take mostly solo journeys, I feel a little too overwhelmed for a companion. But I had a wonderful time with Ava, and also with Gilorien who was an amazing companion as always. There were even some moments that brought me to tears, like the gentle music on top of the snow cave which I'd never heard before. Sitting there watching the wm with that beautiful music is a journey moment i'll always remember I also ran into an afk Rabbit in post-HL bb... thinking it was a snipe by Ava, I thought it would be funny to push her off the bridge all the way into a cave :) Thanks for being a good sport, Rabbit! My apologies again. I've been exploring on PS3 a bit lately, and find the companions there to be very interesting! They act a little differently and seem generally more happy to continue on their way without a companion. I really enjoyed wandering around looking at the differences from the ps4 (THE SAND!), especially the shadowlands area, so interesting! |

Yesterday, I took the opportunity to snipe ava !
I dunno if you, ava, recognized me in the second we met, but it was funny to walk to you like a zombie :P
I'm sorry again for all the coasting... I had only this on mind. So, when ava showed me how we could start silent coast by just walking from a ledge, I wanted to try all ledges I could find! :P We spent some time silent, and this was very pleasant! It was also cool to just chirp to help when needed, and not struggle because we were silent for a time. So, I joined you, but thank you for joining me in my silly coasting quest. Very high, or just above the ground, grabbing symbols, or bonking our head on walls, trying to go through windows, the successes were cool and relaxing, the fails were just funny.
I had a great time with you ava, thank you. It was cool to just play around without flying much, without complicated tricks. Ok, maybe the coasting part was too big at one moment, so I'm a bit sorry ^^
I'll remember this one, and will ty again with some peeps, to coast from ledgse like we did, I loved that! Thanks you dear ava for your lovely company, like always...
You made me fly quite a lot, so now I make you coast (and quit the BB quite quick) :P

Thank you so much mimor for taking the opportunity to snipe me :D I thought this is you when you were zombie walking (which still makes me laugh whenever i recall it lolol, i was laughing so much!), but when you went for the circle coasting around bb i had absolutely no doubts that it was you! The moment of first silent coasting was absolutely unbelievable!! I remember when we were standing on the pillar of the bridge piece and you were so silent, and i thought if maybe i am doing something wrong, but then the way you redirected my attention, and the way we understood without words that we will jump and coast together in one direction, the way we JUST DID IT OMG!! honestly saying i was close to tears at this moment, mimor, it was incredible. Thanks to our connection and to your bold ideas, mimor! This is the very first time ever doing such thing! It was a real silent sunday for me, how i always imagined it feels. In the BB and PD i felt such incredible connection with you and so much excitement, the silent coasting in SC, when we believed each other even when being so high above ground, and UG where we were flying back and forth amongst pipes! i loved it so much! thank you for this incredible gift! When we meet again, lets do it again! When we meet again, let's also go to the skypainting in UG again, i can't get enough of this place  Thank you again, dear mimor. Yeah, now after all this coasting - a flying BB practice journey? |

i am pretty sure most of you did this on purpose. it just happened coincidently to me yesternight.
in the tower i often try to faceplant, after activating the glyph so i can lay in goo. i managed to finally FP a millisecond before the goo reaches me.
*flup* laying there, but also.. slowly gliding :) gliding to the edge aaand *plumps* down on the ground. i am so happy. just had to share.
might try to reproduce it. its fun
